Unclaimed Life Assurance Policies Act 2003 The purpose of the Act is to set out the steps to be taken by financial institutions to identify the owners of dormant policies and, where such owners cannot be traced, the transfer of moneys payable under those policies to the Dormant Accounts Fund. Commenced 10th March 2003.

Euro Changeover (Amounts) Act 2001 Act to provide, in necessary cases, for the replacement of Irish pound amounts in law with convenient amounts in euro, to apply from 1 January 2002.

Valuation Act 2001

The Act updates existing valuation legisaltion, improves and streamlines the operation of the valuation system, and makes the system more transparent and equitable for rate payers. Act no. 13 of 2001

This Act made the necessary legislative provisions to facilitate the sale of the Bank. Act no. 6 of 2001

Makes provisions relating to members of the Oireachtas, parliamentary and Ministerial Offices, Judges and Court Officers. This Bill finished all stages in the Dail and Seanad on March 26th 1998.This Bill was enacted on 1.4.98.

Stamp Duty Consolidation Act 1999

To consolidate Stamp Duty legislation. Act number 31 of 1999

Investor Compensation Act 1998

To provide investor compensation - to transpose provision of Draft Investor Compensation Directive. The President signed the Bill on July 13th 1998.

1998 Finance Act

This is an annual Bill which includes the changes announced in the Budget. The Bill was published on 12.2.98 and was signed into law on 27.3.98.

1998 Finance (No.2) Act

To legislate for the taxation changes arising from Government's action on house prices. The President signed the Act on May 20th.

EMU Act, 1998

To adapt Irish monetary law in the light of two EU Regulations on the use of the euro. The Bill was signed by the President on 13 July 1998.

Central Bank Act 1998

To deal with the integration of the Central Bank into the European System of Central Banks and the European Central Bank. The President signed the Bill on March 18th 1998.
